Saguaro Cheer Kicks off the Football Season  
Saguaro Cheer kicked off the 2013 Football season by cheering the Saguaro JV team on to a Victory against Chaparral High School.  Then the day of the Varsity game the team performed at the Pep assembly, entertaining their classmates with a routine which included tumbling passes and elite stunts. At the Varsity game at Chaparral the team supported their Football team as they began what promises to be a great season with a disappointing loss.  Saguaro Cheer is very proud of the Saguaro Football teams and is proud to support and cheer them on to the many victories in store for them this season.  GO CATS!!!

Saguaro Cheer Welcomes their New Coaches

Saguaro Cheer has added two amazing new coaches to their coaching staff.  Michelle Spears (administrative head coach) is being joined by Kellie Mailloux  as Saguaro Cheer's technical skills head coach.  Kellie began as a competitive gymnast, then became a cheerleader in 8th grade.  Michelle has competed on and later coached AllStar cheer teams and High School squads for the past four years.  Currently she is an Allstar cheer coach at Desert Storm Elite.  Kellie and Michelle also welcome Karizma Holcomb as Saguaro's technical stunting coach.  Karizma's vast experience as a cheerleader and an AllStar and High School coach will be an invaluable asset to the team as they prepare for the football and competition seasons.  

Saguaro Cheer Earns Top Honors at UCA Cheer Camp

Saguaro Cheer showed their talent, spirit and good sportsmanship as won

recognition at the UCA Cheer camp at The Arizona Grand Resort.  Receiving the spirit stick two of the three days, the girls showed they had the spirit that it took to be a top team.  They also received Second place for their Extreme Routine and First Place for their Spirit Cheer.

And, the team was awarded the Top Banana award which is given to the team that showed the most spirit and best sportsmanship through the four day camp.

 

In addition, three Saguaro Cheerleaders were selected as All American Cheerleaders.  They are qualified to participate in All American parades throughout the year.  Congratulations, Victoria Thiss, Charlie Rodgers and Blaire Helton

Saguaro Cheer would like to thank the 2012-2013 Seniors, Harmony Buck, Michelle Masterson, Kari Cesaro, Jessie Cash and Hannah Diebolt for their hard work, dedication, and incredible spirit with Saguaro Cheer last year. We know these inspiring young ladies are going to continue to impress the world through their achievements. We at Saguaro Cheer want to congratulate them on their success, wish them luck for in their future endeavors, and let them know they will be very missed.
